Support and Report for staff

Support and Report for staff

Information for colleagues

At the University of Exeter, we are an inclusive community where everyone has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Harassment, including sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation and discrimination (for example racism and homophobia) go against all we stand for and will not be tolerated.

If you have experienced or witnessed any of the above, you can informally report it to us using this form. You can choose to submit an informal report either anonymously or with your contact details.

If you provide your contact details, a member of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team will respond to you within 3 working days to ensure you receive support and talk through your options.

Support and Report is an informal reporting tool for colleagues. If you wish to make a formal complaint, you can find out more information about how to do this via the Grievance Procedure.

If you have witnessed a student experiencing harassment or discrimination, or you have been approached by a student with concerns, you can use the Student Support and Report route to share this and your report will be taken forward by colleagues in Student Cases and/or Wellbeing Services. You can also find detailed advice on supporting a student disclosing an incident of sexual misconduct or harassment on our student webpages
